Frustration for me this week. I have had to postpone the opening of my Etsy shop for a week or two until I solve my camera problems. I have a great camera, but I am struggling with connecting it to my lap-top to download my pictures of the scarves I have made so far. I am sure I will be able to sort this out soon, but not sure when. Frustrating is not the word – I was really excited to be opening the shop, but I must have my pictures, and so I will have to get on with what I do best – problem solving!
The scarves are lovely though – better than expected, so I am busy cutting and sewing fabric to stock the shop, and developing new products. It is a delight working with such beautifully soft and colourful fabric, and getting inspiration for new designs as I sew.
Today I spent time cutting out rainbow stripes for my pride scarves, and now I have rainbows all over the place.
I have a couple of new designs up my sleeve and an idea for a whole new product line, so watch this space. 2015 is going to be an exciting year for me in the RainbowShed.
